No where in the national agreement does it state that you have to start later, only that the hours need to aliegn to where the work is and most offices even with walk sequencing will have work from 0500.

They might have work from 0500 but enough to sustain a full office?.....i don't think so and certainly not in ours.
Staggered starts i'm afraid....that's what aligning the work with the hours means in a lot of cases POSTMAN.

The mail after it is sorted normally for your office either has to be transported to a WSM site and then go through another machine 3 times then transported to you.Mr Blonde wrote:might be a daft question but why isn't the wsm mail in our do's earlier?
Or if the WSM is at your MC the same still applies but it obviousy does not have to go anywhere extra,but it also depends on where you are in the sorting order.

Mail sorted for my office won't be transported straight to my office, but will be transported elsewhere, then the already sorted mail will have to go through a machine, not once, not twice, but three times, then, and only then, will we get to see this mail in my office.
Talk about going all round the houses!!!!
