i worked for post office for 22 and half years , on delivery driving and parcel force finishing up as a PHG , HAD TO RETIRE THROUGH ILL HEALTH , the reason for me today
is theft on the job , unfoughtly this happens , i have ordered an item in the past week , which was posted in bolton , first class parcel post , but has not arrived , i contacted the supplier , and was told items often disappear , isnt this a shame to hear , when i worked on the job this was very rare , but it happened not on the scale of today . TRAGIC REALY

Have found through personal experience that this is their way of fobbing off their customers. Yes, RM aren't perfect, and yes, occasionally things do go missing. However, not as often as these companies tell their customers.
I used to work for a well known telecommunications company who automatically signed people up for ebilling. When the customers called up to say they hadn't received their bills, we were TOLD to inform the customer to check with RM because it had been sent out
