The vast majority of letters are walksorted, all over mail is manual via IPS, no walksorted flats what so ever.

Re: Pre WSM Revision
Interesting. Like you, no wsorted flats: a fair amount of walksequenced mail, but in addition a lot of direct marketing material ,single leaf/odd size/shape/cluttered facing page, That was once walk sorted but is no longer
so more IPS after the introduction of sequencing. Also ft/pt ratio is roughly 50/50 ,you should see it go tits up with the smallest bit of FT sickness, then of course the nastiness starts
Bye

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It depends on how big your DO is,where it is in relation to other DO's and how many machines can be fitted in it.Lounge Lizard wrote:Largeish DO ?POSTMAN wrote:Both, depend on the areas and size of DO's.Lounge Lizard wrote:Are Walk Sequencing Machines most likely to be installed in the Mail Centre or the Delivery Office ?

Re: Pre WSM Revision
Quite a big DO, a dozen miles from other DOs, and how many machines can be fitted in depends what size they are - I've not seen any.Lounge Lizard wrote:POSTMAN wrote:It depends on how big your DO is,where it is in relation to other DO's and how many machines can be fitted in it.Lounge Lizard wrote:Largeish DO ?POSTMAN wrote:Both, depend on the areas and size of DO's.Lounge Lizard wrote:Are Walk Sequencing Machines most likely to be installed in the Mail Centre or the Delivery Office ?
