Well TrueBlueTerrier just been to this web-site and my god can you belive it he is giving a speach on Leadership and practical wisdom by the people who know. Well what's he doing there. This bloke really is full of it he must sleep in his own s..t at night . I bet he will be paid for bullshitting all these people . Will he be speaking when he is supposed to be working for us.

He'll probably charge them for signing his new book as well.

The only leadership he shows is how to amass as much money as possible whilst crushing your own work force. Well he hasn't come up against a decent union that is full of people with guts and determination before and he has a fight on his hands now.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The ironic thing is some MCM's have been sent to these "guru" presentations - seemed to work well-not! When I was interviewed the MCM was quoting this guru & me thinking - hello planet earth over! :lfo

-When I was with the RMT one of my workmates said when he moved to Ch****y ( my clerk was actually in Juliet Bravo) ,there was men-only pubs etc and everybody was talking about a ?? Hall Place. He started wondering if it was some sort of caravan park or something as everybody had been . It turned out to be the local mental hospital!. Some of the bends going towards Adlington were notorious for suicides for hospital patients.
Barbara out of the series The League of Gentlemen, is based on a real life character at Leyland , he/she/it had complications with the operation . You'd see this person with hands like shovels , 6' tall and 7 o'clock shadow in a skirt on the platform .One of them lived in Euxton and Darwen ( The Mountain Men) and they all went to Drama College near Last of the Summer Wine land going towards Sheffield from Huddersfield .
On the trains I used to work the "Happy Valleys" to Colne , there was a lot of people who'd you'd term to be a bit slow , they all looked the same and tended to be related to each other . It's a hangover from the Great War and the fatalities from the likes of the Somme, Xipres and Passcendale .The last Colne was murder , you'd move any women , kids down the train , lock the doors and let them all brawl on the train as it was what they wanted unless the Transport Police were riding shotgun . You'd ask for fares and they'd just say Accy etc .
