A man is on the run after holding up a Suffolk post office armed with a knife and a handgun and threatening staff.
The armed robbery took place at Hopton Post Office in Thelnetham Road.
The man escaped with cash in a dark-coloured people carrier with two other people inside. A helicopter has been helping detectives search for the man.
He is described as aged in his 20s, between 5ft 10in (1.78m) and 6ft (1.83m) tall, wearing dark glasses, a grey fleece and a red baseball cap.
The raid happened at about 1110 BST, police said.
