There are various walking speeds depending on what equipment you are using and what terrain you are on

For flat walking 5.95km 3.69mph( it used to be 6.44 )4mph

With an HCT 5.53 3.43mph

With a light weight trolley 5.59 3.47mph

Moving a cycle between delivery ponts 5.95 3.69mph

For HCT undulating 4.90 3.04mph
For HCT steep 5.19 3.22mph

Cycle 13.24 8.22mph

light weight trolley undualting 5.72 3.55mph
Light weight trolley steep 5.76 3.57mph

There will be some live testing taken on some of these but most of the speeds have been reduced and are now in geo route 2008 version.

Are they going to test them with a fit 20year old or a fat 50year old dingo?

Well Dingo, are these based on a fit 18-30 year old man, or a 60+ year old. Oh or have they not taken into account that there are an array of different reasons why a set rate of speed is absolute bullsh-t. Why are you and this Union of ours condoning this rubbish.

Hi Postman, I think they are preparing for the sell out probably to the French, who as we know now own a large proportion of the assetts of this country. Bring back Agincourt.

These speeds are ridiculously fast.

Ask your average fat lazy lino to test.
