Does anyone else ever get the feeling that the management team at GMC sometimes just blag their way through the week?

Does anybody else feel that its starting to get tight in here?? The mail is mostly just making it out the door!!
I think we could lose a few more bodies!

Also I think that world class mail is having the opposite effect than it should! the place is a nightmare!! Maybe its not being done properly? nah! the cream of the management crop are in control! i'm just being silly!

I cant wait till they put up drawings in the toilets explaining the correct procedure for wiping ones behind!!

I wouldn't put it past them!

But you're right. They're just cherry picking the bits of WCM that they can use to cut staff, and ignoring the rest. That's why it's so counterproductive at the moment. But did anyone expect them to do anything else?

That explains something I saw in the toilets once - he was obviously alternating between the 2 positions fairly rapidly before he made the presentation in WTL.

Although there is a serious shortage of staff on all shifts (except the early shift! surely 5 people is plenty! I admit it im not on the early shift!! can you guess who I am yet!!??????)

World Class Mail!!

Whats it all about I hear you ask?

In glasgow mail center its about giving the conformers some crayons and a lot of silly jobs!! I wonder if they get paid much?
After all they are kinda doing the majority of the managements job!! Everybody will have had their introduction etc by now and will no doubt be bamboozled by the jargon and the pathetic attempts of the management trying to explain what they have been doing for the past year!

At least the mail center isnt suffering from the lack of managers and workers who have been taken away to the secret base formerly known as training room 1! What have we gained so far!!?

If it was implemented properly, then these groups would be useful and productive. But they're just a paper excercise, designed to find anything they can use to justify cutting resources. TBH that's what p****s me off the most about it. It had so much potential (proved in other businesses) to improve things for everyone. After all: Who knows better than us, what needs to be improved, and what should be left alone. To avoid things messing up, and leaving us to pick up the pieces. Our knowledge of the job, is a valuable resource. But we're ignored, unless it's going to save money in the short term (regardless of what happens in the long term). So the budgets look good!

New uniforms are starting to make an appearance!!

Some people say that working here can be a little depressing!! What better way to lighten up the place by providing free charcol coloured dust jackets and trousers!! Hmmmmmmmmm cheery! soon we will all look like mental patients with a neat little pocket on our legs to carry our medication but no water!! thats NO water!! is bad ! very bad! No NO NO water!

On a brighter note the new bright red fleeces will allow a great deal more interaction with the public!! I cant wait to be sitting on a bus full of nutters in my new attire!!

Holy Shizzle its hot in that mail center? is that excellent aircon system blowing out steam?? I had to take of my dust jacket and my fleece!! stripped right down to the shirt and waist coat! Havent spotted any new skirts yet!! I think that may be a good thing!

How many spiders live in GMC?? is there any other mail centers that are over run by the little ear dwelling arachnids!!?
