Just reading through some old posts while watching the footy and had to comment on this. Leaving the van in the yard with all your packets (including specials) is an accepted method of working in our office. Yes,that`s what I meant but thats always the case. Manager goes home probably half twelve at the latest, drivers return 2-2.30, office locked up driver locks van up and goes home.

My advice to anyone would be, don't go into any confrontation until you're prepared for it by being in control of yourself, don't panic and make sure you have the story straight - that is, consider the options as to what they can and cannot prove and tailor your story to that. Never be defensive and make sure they know you are not going to lie down for any crap - if they think they've got a fight on their hands they will take a more lenient approach.

Best to work at an SPDO where you will most likely have the keys so you can lock up after yourself if the last one back on a Saturday afternoon before going home for what's left of the weekend.
