rotating day off

Post by samunited »

Hi Guys, I just started with royal mail...I'm a bit confused about the rotating day off!!! 1st week I was off on Wednesday, 2nd week off on Thursday, 3rd week off on Friday. 4th week off on MONDAY...??? 5th week off on Monday...??? when I asked why I didn't get off on Satauday on week 4 I was told that because I'm on a "temporary contract (5 months 20 hours a week) I wont be getting any Saturday off!!! I checked the job description and it states hours of work 10am to 2 pm Monday to Saturday with a rotating day off...not rotating day off between Monday and Friday...Anyone have any ideas what the right way is???

Please don't start multiple threads all on the same subject it takes too long to moderate and in our experience the answer get confusing. As you are on OPG in a Del Office I'll lock all except the one I answered.
