Woman gets marijuana in the post

An elderly woman in Michigan was left puzzled after she received a parcel containing 2 pounds of marijuana in the post.

The woman, who live in Blackman Township, southern Michigan, called the police after she recieved the package in the mail last week.

Detective are in the dark about who might have sent the pot, and the return address on the package - in Arizona - was a fake.

Police say they think that either the marijuana was sent to the wrong address by mistake, or possibly somebody planned to grab it from the woman's mailbox before she collected the mail.

The dope, thought to be worth around $2,400 (over £1,500), will be destroyed, police say.
