I Have had one lot this week, the managers are now walking down the isles making notes to who has had what and saying "is that all you got this week" the next thing they say is "put your absorption on your frame before you go out, its up to you weather you do it first or after your duty, as long as it leaves the absorption frame its covered in their eyes..

I'd die for that as we have 5 lots and two are little booklets that keep falling out the bundles.

Not read the whole of this thread, but i've worked it out if i do more than 4 d2d then i could possibly be over my time. I come to this theory as i had 4 d2d in two weeks in a row and finished on time pretty much, bar one day (friday).

I haven't got to five yet, but when i do, the conclusion is to work my hours and go home.

thats how i work every day now
however on the flip side
it was a quiet day yesterday and when i finished my duty i helped the guy on the next duty
he had locked himself out of his van and lost some time
'cost' me maybe 20 minutes but the karma and defense that i work my hours is worth it

No of course not, please dont take my humor the wrong way but sometimes you appear to have the duty from heaven compared with many of us

When are they going to get it through to their thick heads that this system of 4/5 households and the summer walk is not going to work.
There has been seven full timers gone from my office since Christmas due to sacked/retired/ill health etc, and not one full timer has been replaced, that's more sorting for us in the morning. not forgetting the sickies phoning in..

A situation you would undoubtedly find in most offices up and down the Country. It is not just the extra D2D's and sorting at our place - our sick joke of a DOM thinks that we must have so much time to spare (!!!) we are called up to sort some of tomorrows post before going out on delivery - clear your boxes then fill them back up again Oh sometimes two lots of lapsing are thrown in as well if they can get away with it. We still have a large contingent of the come in early, work without a break brigade who are making the set up look workable It sickens me to see the DOM and his linos stood around all morning with coffees in their hands basically taking the piss.
