I'm sure i've asked this elsewhere, but this is a CWU doc and if i'm right there is nothing to say that this has been agreed by RM as well.
We all know how hard it is to get management to stick to official agreements, what about this one then?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I covered a town/suburban duty for about 6 months.
1/3 of the round was made up of 10 or so blocks of flats, about 230 delivery points. All of them were rented out by the same company. Over a period of one week said company sent out recorded 1st class jiffy bags to every flat on that part of the duty.
I took out about 10 out a day and refused to take the rest; they went to a guy on light duties in a van. Still took me f***ing ages to get them done as more than half the people were either not in or the buzzers were knackered and they didn't hear me buzz, so I had to slip.
Plenty of docket that week :dance

Made me laugh when the manager told me to stick 'em through the letter box without a signature. What a twunt.

634 International signed for. Scanner froze/crashed 3 times. Wrist and arm hurt, as had to do 1777 scans because of the PDA buggering up. 2 .5 hours to get the items deliverd, start to finnish. :arrrghhh

Any ideas on what to do? As this call is only going to get more and more in the next week or two.

If it carries on you'll have to get an 'incident' for it.
