As said, I refused to flex as I do not have the time to do it and I refuse to play ball with their games, I have even heard they even flexed a part timer who didn't know any better, which I consider to be a very dirty low down trick, they are now flexing every day, yes thats right, every day, not just Monday and tuesday, so they are now turning the screw by counting how many items on frame, timing me, checking what time I finish, so they can grind me into submission, instead all this would only have is the opposite effect, it would only just p1ss me off and more determined.

The worldy peace loving wishy washy hippie love in, that is the "agreement" is one big pile of poo, you will not be expected to work beyond your hours mmm yeah right, cynical moi ?

Did your office have a official start time in the morning. because the 0500 people love to flex . two months ago the cwu rep
had a agreement with the dom that the office doors remain closed to 05.55 .today it is a walk in early and the 0600 starters
are the baddies.

oh and by the way iam a little unsure what the insurance policies are when people come in before their official start times
and say for example have an accident.
I was talking about that to the Rep and Colleague the other day, we start at 6.30am yet some come in as early as 4am we think that the door should be locked until 6.20am, as we no longer have night turn anymore, its quite feasable, yet the managers do open it up early, in spite of the official line on work as per agreement, mmm wonder why ?

We call it ''Lapsing'', same thing, in our office if someone is on the sick or training course we then get list telling us which part of the vacant duty you take, i was led to believe when you were Lapsing,it was supposed to be next to your own Duty, our office it's anywhere within that Postcode, when i tell my lino it's not near my delivery im told you will have to bike it there first, then carrying on to your Duty after!! it takes nearly 1 hour after leaving office/lapsing before i start my own duty, my lino has to drop my pouches off because my van/large packet driver is also Lapsing so he leaves 50 mins after i start my Duty (27.5 hr contract) at 09.20, then when i do finish and claim O.T .then next morning (leaving a forecast the previous day), you have to prize the O.T. sheet from his top pocket after he has Questioned the reason why you are claiming O.T.

Personally i think it's just wrong!!

yes lapsing its called in our pit asked to do it all refused as i dont have enough time
said if i was out 15-20 mins early no prob but always late out due to conveying probs dtds etc
then came the wonderful understanding lino comments " the only reason you are not lapsing is because you r not interested and your NOT GOOD AT YOUR JOB " i asked him to repeat comments in front of staff and dom which he did.
grievance going in tmrrw once i speak to rep
only been doing the same job 20 yrs so if i was,nt good at the job where does that leave mgmt who employ me.
oh and the replies i gave sound familiar
sorry i am not working for free
not coming in early
not taking d2ds home or preping in own time
not rushing round deliv to boost mgmt bonus
list is endless
there also expecting us to lapse tmrrw
