Have they provided any recycling facilities for them?
The WBCs used to recycle everything. If they're not doing the same in the DOs, then it doesn't look good for RM's claims of being Green. :hmmmm

Hopefully. Because this isn't the first change they've brought in, which is totally at odds with their claims of being Green. As Dblad said: They're replacing bikes with vans too.

So I'm I right in assuming that there aren't any recycling facilities for the excess D2D in DOs then?

To be fair Andy most of them should have....we do.
Although the D2D used to be returned the boxes they came in were not so in a big D.O that's a hell of a lot of cardboard.

You're right there. There used to be people who's entire duty was to recycle all the D2D sent back, because it all had to be seperated (e.g. pens removed). You can't just dump it all in a skip marked "Recycling".

All waste for my D.O is collected by BIffa http://www.biffa.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We have big wheelie bins of which some are cardboard only.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

So what do they mean by dry recyclable waste then? :confused
Surely you're not expected to mix completely different materials, just because they're dry are you?

That makes a lot of sense. Although you'd think they'd label it better, wouldn't you?
