I wonder, seeing as health and safety say we shouldn't drive for periods exceeding such and such a times etc because we get tired and blah blah... couldn't they say we shouldn't walk more than so many miles a day as it increases wear and tear on the joints?

Would wear and tear on the joints due to excessive walking class as an industrial injury seeing as it was accrued because of the job?

Hmmmm...
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?

Not a chance it is far to sensible suggestion and how would a humble postie know what is good for them or not!. It is just a case of redistributing the ware and tear off the back and on too the knees and feet!.

The 3.5hr delivery cap has been lifted, so you could be walking for 5 hours, oh what joy when that revision comes around!
The delivery span only works if the new machiery is is here so if the cap has been lifted where is the time? i presume
like as in our office 0500 unofficial starters are the new heros (come in early* prep another pt duty absorb and then do your

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Has anyone been told that you can't order any uniform unless we order it out of the new book?not even a Cat Shoe or Boot, pretty difficult to do that as none of us knew about the book in our office
