Thanks for that G, I don't know if anyone has breezed through it but FFS, that is one complicated piece of crap, for an example it says "Does it deliver SD Y or N", well our deliveries deliver small SDs but a van delivers the large SDs for the same delivery so do you put Y or N or Y/N or I Don't Know.

Then we have the Redirections which too seems complicated because you have to input the RDs for each delivery OR not and it will spread the RDs apparently across the board, but we all know two things, that RDs are vastly different from delivery to delivery and they change often on a daily basis so does that input have to be changed daily.

I can only say that things were much less complicated when we weighed the mail and cleared it as per its nomenclature, 1st class dated/undated, 2nd class dated/due and then everything else and we made quite high profits which HMG took.

This is pointless as there are no managers in my office who are intelligent enough to understand this let alone implement it. The managers at my DO really are some of the most vacant human beings on the planet. When confronted with this they will either shrug their shoulders or panic and hide in the canteen.

Obviously the IWT will be taken out of their hands and placed into the care of some external planner.

The managers roles will be to execute a B&H strategy when it all goes to rat s**t.

I have only one question:

When did delivering letter become so complicated?

Have we got the new one,6.3.
Need to update the important threads thread.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Still no sign of the 6.3 yet! What's the hold up?
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.
