Further to 133/07, it has now been confirmed that the issuing of uniforms has now been resumed. Therefore, uniform can now be ordered in accordance with the normal system.
It is understood, however, that managers have been instructed to check that replacement orders are justified on the basis that a renewal is essential.
We will be seeking a meeting to discuss how such restrictions stand in relation to our current agreement so any relevant information from Branches on how the uniform arrangements are being applied will be helpful.
