U dont need trainin to be a manager at royal mail, but to be a manager at any other company then it requires college qualifications, skills, and a brain.

In that order.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I thought about going for managers training but really they are not managers just overpayed SUPERVISORS. Manager don't have a clue and just so they are doing as little as possible put the onus on the postman. Example no keys for boxes, what shall i do, stick it up my a*** or leave it a bottom of a stair with a sign saying please steal me. If you ask them to bring it out its like you committed a cardinal sin. They won't be able to play table-tennis or have their 40 cups of tea or go home early. MANAGERS LAZY GITS!!!!!!
This is why i'd never become a manager. I have some pride.

You're right about them just being Supervisors. But you have to start there, in order to work your way up to being a real Manager. It's not something I'd want to do, either. But some people really think that they can do a better job than the ones they're dealing with at the moment. But there's not many who are able to cope with the pressure to abandon their morals. There are some who manage it. But they're incredibly rare. And it's not unusual for them to eventually succumb to the pressure, and start shafting us. Which is something I learned the hard way! If you're lucky enough to have one of the rare good Managers. Don't take it for granted that he/she will stay that way indefinately. It can be a nasty shock, when they turn! :hmmmm
