POST CHIEF
As the postal dispute flared up into
fresh strike action last night, union
leaders asked "Where is Allan '10 jobs'
Leighton?"
The Royal Mail chairman was nowhere
to be seen as 30,000 staff at 80 mail
centres across the country walked out.
Dave Ward, of the Communication
Workers Union, said:" When the chips
are down, he's vanished. His absence
proves Royal Mail aren't taking the
dispute seriously,"
Mr Leighton, 54, has at least 10
directorships.
They include BhS,BSkyB.Royal Mail,
the Post Office and his own company
Going Plural.
Royal Mail could not say where he was
last night.
A spokesman said "I don't have his diary."
There will be few deliveries tomorrow and
virtually none on Saturday.
Falling down is not failure
Staying down is.

Al is a very busy man he has to spread his time between being our chairman and tormenting dammed souls in the underworld we cant be selfish and expect him to be in his office more then once a month.
