It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Workshop Slides
this seems a very fair way to measure traffic before revision lol
"How it’s calculated
Review traffic volume for the past 52 weeks
Remove weeks affected by
Bank Holidays
Christmas
Any other special event
Compare the average of
June-July (wks 11-17) and
January (weeks 41-44)
Select the lower of these two averages (unless there is some special reason why this would not be appropriate)
Compare your model week (including D2D) against the most recent traffic period
If traffic volumes have fallen further, adjust to allow for the effect of the decline"
so revisions will be based on the lowest possible traffic throughout the year, awesome bit of fairness that. then again they could measure the traffic on tuesdays only lol

Interesting to see the joint logos on these "slides" - perhaps skids would be more appropriate given the content.
