Hang on in there it probably won't be anywhere near as bad as you think.
You are assuming last letter means completion of duty gb93.
Although i think 5 to 5 and a half hours will be what they are looking for on a 10hr day but 6 hrs is possible.
Not on a 10 hr day - I still find it incredulous that you manage 6 hours indoor work on a ten hour day!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: question about cdv,who has to drive them??
We had a meeting with rep this morning.apparently not enough people have volunteered for change over
ie to do the drvinng of the cdvs in our office.so now if you are a driver you will gain seniority over ones
who cant drive, this is the carrot they are dangling now to get drivers.no one will be forced to drive according
to rep,but you may be placed elsewhere.not really fair on the 30 to 40 year men who cant drive. But at least we
have a choice not to drive
