We’re using the latest technology to plan the most efficient delivery routes based on each days mail volume
That'll be the line manager saying there is only 127 letters in each box when there are 250+?
Be careful Pat you mentioned traffic figures and summoned someone from his sleep!.
:chuckle :chuckle :chuckle but but but the machines count everything and are never wrong :nervous unless you count all the missorts I get every morning from my code sorted trays (usually 20/30 for all over the place including neighbouring areas).

We’re better equipped to deliver what you want, when you want it.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

This is truly hilarious!

Everyone knows Royal Mail will be back with the begging bowl in 3 years time citing the urgent repayment of the £1.3 billion loan and the "huge" pension deficit due to their 17 year contribution holiday as a method of covering up the ineptitude of this so called 'modernisation' programme *takes breath*.

Royal Mail speak of fast forwarding in to the 21st Century.

Can someone tell Ms. Greene they are 10 years too late.

Oh and switch the light off on your way out...

The sad thing is, that most of the Public will believe this ludicrous propoganda. And when the service (if it's still worthy of being called that!) gets even worse, it'll be the Delivery Posties who'll get the abuse! :evil/mad :arrrghhh :evil/mad

Royal Mail will NEVER advertise that customers are getting mail later and later. They leave it all to us to get it in the neck.
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

more efficient delivery routes

Has anybody seen these more efficient delivery routes?
We have had a planner in our office for about a year and so far he has come up with.....bugger all.
Between his car emissions, the endless cups of coffee and the reams and reams of paperwork he has produced....and then binned he must have killed half of the Amazon rainforest himself.
we had someone in our office last year sorting walks out asking delivery staff about their walk, took everything into account put the new walks on the wall guess what a total shambles, (our walks are still the same the new walks didn't come in) fed up of hearing about pegasus and you hit the button on a computer and all the walks are sorted. The money wasted is a joke would have been more cost effective to send some neutral round everywalk to deliver then assess the walks
