No one is getting a payment for D2D's anymore.
Are you kidding?
We have months and months of this to go yet.
Thanks FishTank, that made me laugh - - - - - then I went back to crying.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

That's not entirely true in its implication though is it?

All the money from the first 3pw d2d contracts previously paid per item delivered is being set aside and used to fund the new delivery supplement. So the money paid by the firms for the first 3 d2ds that we deliver is being shared out between those delivering this work but shared out totally unfairly.

And some not even touching the d2d are getting this money too ofcourse. It's unfair for FT'ers and much more so for PT'ers. I'll be banging on about this for a long time and rightly so because it STINKS. It was a way to bribe indoors staff to vote yes. :so there

How many indoor staff do you have in your D.O?

I have outdoor staff who will benefit as some of them are Rural Duty holders and some rural duty holders dont have a lot of D.P's.

My D.O has,

Two RLE duties

Two pouches/oversized packet deliveries

All other duties are Outdoor Delivery and reserves.

Stating the obvious but outdoor D.O staff would some what outnumber indoor D.O staff would they not, so unless outdoor D.O staff are very apathetic they can not be outvoted by indoor D.O staff.

I really would love to see the vote result broken down to functional level.

Thinking on there is no reason why the supplement could not have been called a DTD supplement and allocated to delivery duties that do DTD. Same amount of money so RML would not have a finacial reason to have objected.

That was simply used to arrive at a figure that RM was willing to throw into the negotiation pot.
Nothing is being "set aside" to fund the delivery supplement.
You could pick any RM revenue stream and it theoretically pays your wages, basic, overtime or supplement.
