Do IB carry warrant cards or just the normal white ID cards?

I remember in my induction watching a slightly outdated, although not that old video of IB and one of them flashing a warrant card with a metal badge on it much like the old bill have?

So how do we know?

IB wouldnt give a toss mate, theyre doing their job. It would get back to the dom who would think you were taking the pish out of him.

Why?
How are you supposed to tell the difference between criminals watching you, possibly with a view to stealing the Mail. And IB/Manager watching you, unless you recognise them (in the case of a Manager), or they produce ID?

In answer to fmrPOSTIE's question: Yes, IB carry ID Badges. And they're only slightly different to ours. I won't go into detail on here, because they're too easy to forge. That's why (although you shouldn't have to put it on your phone bill) I keep recomending that people phone to check that the badges are genuine, before saying/doing anything that could jeapordise the security of the mail, at the request of someone claiming to be from IB.

That's right Calpsy. It was IB, although it was probably an audit that he/she was performing. They do the same thing with the security in our building (I work indoors). It's got to the point where I recognise some of the regulars.
