The whole problem as I see it is interim, which is covering up to a extra two sets of DTD in advance of the office revision. The office revision is the method by which increased DTD will be incorprated into duty.

Perhaps a better idea would have been no interim period and no lifting of cap yet, RML then set out to win new contracts to start at a certain date in the future once the revison has taken place. That would have made life a lot easier.

That's my whole point Daz......then what?
Stage 1 would normally secure the status quo.....but not in this case. :hmmmm
So....does the implementation of D2D into workload without agreement constitute Executive Action?
No, as agreement was given through the 2010 ballot. The issue is the resourcing of hours in advance of the office revision, the office revision puts DTD into workload, for the purpose of AWD. As revisions have not yet taken place we need interim measures which are to be disscussed and agreed at local level using normal IR framework procedures.

After stage 1 if no agreement you go to stage 3 meeting with senior manager/rep (Stage 2 is admin work and not a actual meeting). I would be very surprised if senior manager and rep were not able to come to agreement on interim measures for a D.O

If the senior manager/rep are struggling at stage 3 I suspect HQ would get in on the act as part of the commitment to a new relationship and making the agreement work.

D2D into workload should be part of the revision. Not before it.

There shouldnt be an interim period. Its a recipe for disaster.

Offices with weak/no reps will suffer.

Same old same old.

No - for official opt outs you wont be given any D2Ds for them, so you will be mis-delivering them if you do deliver any, another potentially sackble offence.

We have been told that summer efficiency will commence on Monday and will be brought in by EA without agreement, just a week before the new D2D payment and the inclusion of them into workload. Now it appears that the formula for inclusion is not yet agreed and that local agreement - Hah, local agreement my arse - nothing has changed with this new agreement and only the likes of the half wits now at conference believed any of the crap put out. I sincerely hope they are having a good time on the money you have given them to spend whilst you take a pay cut.

OK, I have not been following things that closely, but is it national agreement that d2d is now done over 6 days rather than 5, or is this another of those things down to local agreement. ?

Why would floaters and reserves only do them on a Sat?the floater would do them on the day the duty holder is off!

Because the floater or reserve is the only one who will not have the option of clearing his D2D on his Saturday duty before due date, course the duty holder might take pity on him and do his work for free as well :hmmmm

Floater covers 5 sats out of 6 (we will stick to most current duties as now for reasons of explanation).

Duty holders work 5 sats out of 6 and do all of there d2d Mon-Fri leaving non for sat except for sats when their day off.

Now if all 5 duty holders in a set do this it will leave only the floater doing d2d on Saturdays.

Does anyone think this wont happen.

It’s my understanding that you can do the whole lot on a Monday.....you can do (some or all) of them in advance of the day they are supposed to be done.

BUT you cannot do them retrospectively……….You cannot leave them all in on a Monday and start them on the Tuesday, so if it’s Wednesday, then Mondays (16.66%) lot and Tuesdays (16.66%) lot have to be already delivered.

Otherwise that lovely word “CONDUCT” will rear its ugly head.

Look the guidelines have now been agreed and will be sent to Divisonal reps today, so all will be revealed. The control change document will also confirm that all other guidelines or briefs are now withdrawn.

With regards local workshop brief has now been agreed along with the geo route video. Divisonal reps will meet with their regional counterparts next week to confrim the roll out. The roll out of the workshops will depend on when your office is due a revision.

Surely everyone is due a non sequenced revision NOW to incorporate the increased workload due to D2D, the HCTs, the CDVs, presumably to save full time jobs, and a sequenced revision when the machines are up and running for their office otherwise when are they going to get the non-sequenced lump sum? There seems to still be a lot of loose ends ipso facto the agreement wouldn't you say? - on reflection YOU probably wouldn't say.
