Was ok. Had a little problem just as i started delivery, but I coped through the 'disaster.'
Had lapsing to do but we got out early and got mine + lapsing all done in good time
Was a decent day,weather-wise, too

Massively heavy day today, I arrived in to find 5 trays sitting at my frame and add to that 5 bundles of Skys, loads of monthly magazines and catalogues and not forgetting the 3 packet bags (plus the 10 specials).

Arrived at the door of one of my (now ex) favourite customers.
Oh! I'm so glad I caught you postie. Can you open my jar of jam?
Tired, dehydrated with slippy hands- no I couldn't. But there's builders working upstairs I'll ask one of them.
Builder opens the jar in under one nanosecond. Return to customer.
Oh! She says. His hand span must be much bigger than yours.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Loads of Xmas catalogues today, line manager actually gave us two days to do them without us having to even ask! I took the bulk of them as we could get whacked with them tomorrow as well. Was knackered when I'd finished.

Easier than yesterday. Virtually no packets. Did get the Sky mags in but still less flats than yesterday so I cleared them all.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
3 busy days. Saturday was the usual scramble to get finished encountered every Bank Holiday weekend. Day off Tuesday. Wednesday, had worse day but did lapsing so didn't get an early finish. Thursday, bombed out.
Loads of flats, really heavy. Tons of manual stuff on top of the 3 boxes of Walk Sequenced stuff. Found out this week that due to more offices being serviced by the ILSMs, we will in future receive LESS Walk Sequenced boxes. Theres progress for ya!
