Alan Johnson decent ? You would not have said so if you were around in 1996 and the employee agenda. A lot of the conference walked out or didt clap when he came back to speak when he left in 1997 such was the love for him in the union, Plus lets not forget the annual conference didt support his nomination for deputy leader of the labour party due to his support of allan leighton plans for a 49% sell off which is very similar to Vince Cable plans.

Johnson is very good in front of the media and says all the soundbites but he is man without any bottle and I would not support him for anything.

I wasn't in this industry back in 1996 ot 1997 so stand corrected but might suggest that he's just a bit more decent than Mandy and some of the others currently in the Labour party.
