No its a Management tool usually applied by one as well

Don't forget once you reach a certain level bullying no longer exists. It has different names, once you reach that level, for instance - operational requirements, active counselling, productivity issues and many more
Are we talking about Royal Mail or the CWU here.? :nervous

I've been paid for the election stuff, always have done.
I don't get bullied at work, neither do any of my colleagues, regardless of whether they are union members or not.Whether they are part timers or not,and yes we have them although not as many as you lot.

Yes my office has had kack, but we stick together,it aint hard!

If anyone on here wants to stand by and see colleagues next to them being bullied then you have to look at yourselves very carefully.

Like me and Daz said, prep the s**t,it takes as long as it takes, and let them(management) sort it out.
Kin ell geezer ,there is a big wide world out there ,and local agreements made it bigger. Empathy and perspective brother

16% sounds good but is Dependant on all four d2d selections being there on Monday morning so you can collate(my preferred method)
all four selections and put them in 90 slots.
if two d2d selections come on Monday and say two on Tuesday.or any other combination!
the Monday 16% was wasted
ill be 20% for the rest of the week as have to be revisiting those houses with d2d i already delivered to on Monday as well as the doubling up of the prep time.
worse case is d2d selections arriving one at a time.
im thinking of a medium sized office of about 25 rounds with increased d2d selection.it could mean two more yorks in the morning.
multiply that across the country rm may want to spread the load.

Why would DTD arrive late, is that normal for your D.O ?

Agreement says

There will be no change to the current D2D workplan and all items will continue to be available for delivery from Monday onwards.

Often you've started delivering two leaflets on Monday and a third arrives on Tuesday, or even Wednesday.
As for the payment sheets, it's often mid week, or even later, before they arrive.

Shouldn't be they are printed locally by a Line Manager at my DO - he prints them on Saturday and they are in the flats fittings for Monday.

Not at all unusual for erratic delivery and cant see more d2d improving this.

No, No, NO!

Its 16% of d2d no matter how many you have on each day whether they are late or not! Its your choice to take more and claim overtime for them but if not its just 16% per day for each d2d.

The DOM will try to get you to take more, obviously, its their f**k up that they are not there on time but thats got nothing to do with you. Let the DOM deliver them

This is what should happen

units will also need to have agreed contingency arrangements in place for late arrivals.

I would suggest OT volunteers, any other ideas?

Why?...D2D into workload means exactly that,it's in your workload and it's live mail.
It's not as clear cut as you think...
In the interim to ensure that D2D workload is covered effectively in line with this agreement, and in advance of units realigning duties through full revision activity to take account of D2D, resourcing of hours associated with the workload linked to D2D will be dealt with through locally agreed interim arrangements and reviewed through the weekly resourcing meetings in all delivery units.

To aid the transition, offices that have not deployed delivery methods revisions will have to provide genuine and demonstrable solutions to any weight or volumetric issues.
In addition to the above special attention will need to be given to Bank Holiday weeks through the weekly resourcing meetings, units will also need to have agreed contingency arrangements in place for late arrivals

It is important that we create a positive culture that supports our joint growth ambitions. In future D2D will become the responsibility of the OPG performing the delivery route and as such treated exactly the same as all other traffic streams.
And the question i asked earlier was what happens if you can't agree.....?

I like your suggestion Daz but i'm not sure how happy your DOM would be paying overtime for D2D when he can see so many of his staff going home early. :chuckle

Because any more than 16% will impact on your delivery and the ability to complete just like it is now at 20% if you take more than that per day and it impacts, you can't claim overtime for it nor can you cut off - so its quite crystal

reading the highlighted "red bits" above its the postmans responsibility to get the d2d "live mail"
delivered and it suggests we should have a contingency plan for late deliveries.
importantly though not stated above"live" mail cant be left or wilfull delay gets invoked.
