They all say that. It shows a complete lack of imagination on their part not to mention a firm grasp of reality. As I said to the soft arse in charge of our office, "Do you think if the Japanese opened a car factory on the industrial estate, many of us wouldn't be down there picking up an application form?"
What makes me laugh when DUM's come out with this rubbish is the knowledge that none of them would ever become a manager in any other place I've worked. In fact, most of them would be handed a brush and shovel and kept out of harms way.

I wouldn't want a scab on the same planet mate. They should all do the decent thing and die.

Oh more that one hundred. I've got no time for any of them. I remember years ago when a Sector Operations Manager asked my opinion of a line manager and I replied "If he went through the windscreen of his car on his way home, it wouldn't bother me at all." I've seen nothing down the years which would change that view. I've said it before, they're on the same level as drug pushers, burglars, muggers, vandals, car thieves, armed robbers, con-artists ad dealers in stolen property. They're all there to make life less tolerable for decent working people and as such, would not be missed.

For a few weeks we didn't have a WTL session, being told "it was felt you had enough on your plate with the extra mail (cos of the industrial action)", interestingly on the "normal" week when there wasn't a strike we still didn't have a WTL.

I wonder if it is because they know feelings are running high? Of course I'm only being sceptical, I'd never suggest RM would do such a thing.

Oh, it must have been a coincidence that we didn't have one this week, what with the Mirror newspaper exposing the pension scandel........................ :Very Happy

Whats funnier is when you have been on IA that week and you know tensions are a little high and you ask the WAM what the WTL is about and it's a case of '...erm... nothing really... erm... local issues' and then once your in the WTL it's propoganda this and that!!! LOL!!!

They are so..... Oohhhh.... whats the word?????

It seems to me that feelings are now becoming stretched taut and the temptation to tell the truth as we see it and let the managers know exactly what useless, one-dimensional, backstabbing, incompetent, arrogant, unimaginative, talentless low grade (cooking)book keepers they really are.
Work time lying and bullying is the ideal time to take these wasters on, they have the weight of :lfo and :cfo on their side, but we have right on our side, f**k 'em and f**k 'em good!
