Now there might be a number of solutions for handling door to door into workload. Remember you will only do 1 /6th per day so on a 500 address delivery that works out at an extra 83 items per day or if you have a 1000 delivery points it works out as 166 items per day.

The options can include a range of options . Have you ever thought that it may mean you dont lapse as you now have more workload ?

Went to an event today where all the regional managers and Divisional reps were there along with Roger Poole , ACAS , Dave Ward, Dale Haddon , Peter Walls , Paul Tolhurst and Bob Gibson.

It was not exactly a love in , but it was on how do we improve relationships and how do we deploy the agreement in a fair and transparant manner.

Now some regions have got better relationships than others. There was some tension in the room but there was a desire to try and improve and a desire to help local reps and delivery office managers. Early days and there will be more challenges in the coming weeks but there is a commitment in every region to try and ensure that relationships improve and that revisions in the future are introduced with the help of the workforce rather to them.

All parties stated that the deployment of the agreement will be the test on whether relationships are going to improve.

Unless you have CDV's then the DOM will be rushing round trying to find extra drop off points or you will be backwards
& forwards like a spacehopper on steroids

Sorry dingo but my office has been told that we have to cut over 100 hours and that we will have to permanently lapse duties no matter what mail volumes come in. That's what the new relationship is over here.

This is just another ploy by RM, no changes in D2D material should take place until the revision takes place, plus i'd be looking at our terms and conditions.
What will the union do if we can't manage 4 and we are taking down the conduct code????

My office has 'planned' 3.5 hours deliveries for the towns but they're more like 4 hours for normal people and the van duties are 5 hours plus.
