Career in the royal mail! Anybody a mechanic/technician?
Hi, this question has been posted elsewhere on the forum but I have been redirected to this area. I have been offered a vehicle technician apprenticeship with RM as I want to be a commercial mechanic. The apprenticeship is £800pcm but does anybody know the average wage of a full time mechanic employee of the RM? I would just like to know to get an idea of what the future holds! Many thanks.

They're on a pretty good wage. Seems fairly secure within RMVS - big backlash against privatising it a few years ago. Sorry I cant give you the pay structure but hopefully someone on here can!
