Stokesy they aint seen nothing yet - better wait six months and then ask if they regret it and indeed undertand it any better than they did originally!
Already these posts are full with folks asking what does it mean! Then of course you have the Managers applying their own interpretation to the agreement, then the Unions still trying to clarify the confusion,

Funny, i thought i was michael j fox in back to the future , could of swore reading the agreement it is 2007, still at least everything
this time is clear & in no way ambiguous
just feel sorry forthe poor souls who have probably earmarked this 'promised' money for their next years holidays or whatever.Still have a sneaking suspicion that once people wake up and smell the coffee, there will be a major backlash (Strikes) against the Union.

That might take some doing stokesy, there is that little clause that says, "continuity of service is paramount", and if it went "wildcat", whose side would the CWU be on? with the new understanding and all.

so the union reps in individual offices will rush everything through to sign it off so all the payments are made to keep everybody happy ?

Im a D.O rep , how on earth will I rush through a sequenced mail revision without sequenced mail
That's £800 (pro rata) thats gonna have to wait untill well into next year or even 2012 for my D.O CWU mbrs/OPG's
