RM didn't want to wait that long - they want to press ahead at their pace.........................and I'll just bet that's what they will do, with or without any union involvement.mclovin wrote:what happened to waiting until a full sequenced revision was in place?????

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

This is the only place I can get information. My rep is usually about a week behind, and I can't remember the last time my DOM announced something that I hadn't already heard about on here.POSTMAN wrote: One thing i did pick up on though was this site is getting s**t for advice, how do you work that out?
As for advice, there are many highly experienced unit reps on here that answer almost every single question.

Surprise Surprise, Cilla here, heard it on RMC first, yet again. One manager let it slip in our office today, although hasn't been announced as such, that the d2d payments stop on 7th june and the new lot start.

Our SOM let slip that the D2D will be sooner than first expected. But no real details. So when do we start look at the frames in the office then gov now, or weeks down the line when we cant get the proper mail in cause of all the s**t mail we are packing into them???

If the payment ceases then it goes into workload. In the interim to ensure that D2D workload is covered effectively in line with this agreement, and in advance of units realigning duties through full revision activity to take account of D2D, resourcing of hours associated with the workload linked to D2D will be dealt with through locally agreed interim arrangements and reviewed through the weekly resourcing meetings in all delivery units.
To aid the transition, offices that have not deployed delivery methods revisions will have to provide genuine and demonstrable solutions to any weight or volumetric issues.
If that is the case then it should be accounted for and properly planned.
It is nice of our leaders to allow these rumours to continue and if they do turn out to be true it's nice to know that somethings never change......
good times, bad times you know I've had my share
