SexyLegs wrote:Can someone explain to me how we will end up working longer saturdays beacuse of this agreement?, I was under the impression that start times will revert to 7am from 5am eventually, meaning your finish time will be 3pm.............not ideal for the sporty amongst us I accept that, but certainly not a longer saturday???

Or am I missing something?
Yes you're missing that element from the last agreement which said "considerably shorter Saturdays" - still that wasn't adhered to either - lets just get on and do whatever is necessary to keep the job going for as little money as possible, with as much work as possible and not worry about simple things such as terms and conditions.
:arrrghhh
i agree
no way to change our culture with WEAK union focuse just on subs
CWU can not be bother about our terms and condition

RM said so, RM is right We have to do this to keep our power

SexyLegs wrote:That's not right Fishtank.............the agreement gives you 1 in 4 saturdays as part of the moving forward and family friendly policy, to get more than 1 in 4 you'll need to do the things you state but the 1 in 4 in guaranteed within the new agreement, our DOM is scratching his head and wondering how he will do it but no-one in our office is going to do an extra 1/4 round to give anyone else an extra saturday off.........so can anyone else provide a sensible answer to my question as unfortunately Fishtank didn't! :Boo hoo!
If you don't do extra work you will not get the Saturday off
