post office audit

Post by johnsouthwales »

some rumours floating about the town, rumourville, idle gossip.. overheard someone saying taking money.. bollox if you ask me, so i checked it out.

'crown' post office closed with a notice audit taking place - nearest post office etc.

is it usual for an audit to take place on a business day? and what circumstances would warrant an audit?

it's possible it's an annual audit or an audit needs to take place if the 'busines' is being passed onto a new 'owner'..

or maybe they got robbed and need an audit to confirm how much was taken...
and here comes avi cohen! oh i say! at the same end, he's got one back!!

My local Crown office was shut again yesterday, apparently the new system crashed (AGAIN!) Sub Offices still open though :hmmmm
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

We had a Post Office closed for "an audit" on a working day.
There were allegations of financial skullduggery and it never reopened.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I believe I am correct in saying that Crown Office Work Time Listening next Tuesday will feature a film about the Titanic.

Given the likely announcement of a Conservative led government by then, I wonder how appropriate this imagery may be?

My office was audited this morning, we are a Crown Office, and we didn't open until 9:30. I was told that it was a random visit, and that more Crown Offices would be auditted in coming weeks, as the Audit Teams are being released from helping with Horizon online, whilst the rollout slows down to a trickle.
