Shut up everyone U should have voted NO and took matters in your own hands

Now u can only squeal that RM did not pay u correctly as promised.

U have not been born yesterday.

THEY always interpret agreement in their favour.

SHOULD HAVE VOTED no AND DEMAND DETAILS ON AGREEMENT

NEVER TRUST THEM ON FACE VALUE

I thought it was strange the usual suspects hadn't been on extolling the virtues of how good a deal it was - and even if it WAS pro rata, which it didn't say it was, you would have expected pro-rata to be on the contracted hours and not on hours worked - still what do you expect from the sell out sisters and their minions, not much and that's exactly what you got.

And the worrying thing - they are still thrashing out the details of the deliveries - although thrashing is probably not the right word - ah yes - colluding is probably a better description.

Even if it doesn't say pro-rata anywhere in the agreement, it definitely doesn't say that it is based on length of service anywhere!

They also said they didnt look at the agreement as in advise legally the cwu or royal mail and were mainly as a mediator.
Didn't take long for the line about ACAS protecting us from RM breaking the agreement to be exposed as a lie.....although in all fairness, it took longer than I expected for RM to do what they want :cuppa

I really cant believe they would be so sneaky with this payment. I was expecting £250 and got under £100, completely sickened by it.

It just sums up the whole agreement, everything so vague with plenty of opportunities to f*** the staff over. Makes me think twice about working for this company.

Colleague share was always paid pro rata . Why dont you go and look at the orginal share certificate which you were sent and see what that said.

Plus why dont you look at your wage slips from previous colleague share payments and they were all paid pro rata. The only thing I think Royal Mail have done this time is to average a part timers hours over a period so if a part timer was working more hours then he or she was contracted for then they would get the payment based on the hours worked.

This has actually been the case in all three of these payments now and hasn't just been done this time.

Axeman the agreement is not colleague shares as people who were employed after 2007 has recieved the payment. But hey what do you care as you didt want the lump sum bribes in the first place.

Some of you moan very loud but do very little to help your other colleagues within your workplace .

You have sung that song before dingo,it's getting a little tired now.
You have no idea who these people are and what they do for their colleagues.
Just as we have no idea who you are and what you may or may not have achieved for yours. :cuppa

there you go again .... no i am and was totaly against this crap deal as seem all the posties i and my colleuges have spoken too (do you detect a distinct lack of trust at the outcome). Again the agreement as read says ALL will recive the £400 not a mention of pro-rata ( your view as a union lacky is based upon what you belive).... now if this was subject to law then the words would have to be taken as 'read' but when we have people like yourself who seem at present to be defending royal fail more than members is it any wonder postal workers are dismayed as a union man you should be persuing this as a matter of course not hiding behind hayes and ward

We didn't ballot on our previous wage slips, we didn't ballot on the share certificates, we balloted on the agreement and it is a little bit late for a full time union official to say, "the only thing I think RM have done" - and just how many things do you think they are going to do that bear no reflection on the wording of the agreement? You have had ample opportunity to explain the formula for the lump sum payment and have failed to do so, that is either because you weren't a party to it or knew but decided not to share that snippet of information.

You can fool some of the people etc etc etc

Received a reply from one of the emails sent Basically they are sorry about the wording, but the CWU were aware that it was prorata
