I was told this morning it's based on the average hours you have actually worked in the last 12 months and not the hours you are contracted to.
Also, if you have been with RM for less than 12 months this affects it as well.
All of this is rubbish of course as we should ALL of got £400

Well, it's what I expected in all honesty. But it depends how you take it.
Mentioned it to union rep this morning, and he got an agreement printed off. I couldn't actually read it or remember the page number it was on as i had a blinding headache and no specs with me, but am taking the netbook into work tomorrow to point it out to him.
Emails sent.

just spoke to an acas advisor and they said that they pretty much would have nothing to do with it, they told me to goto citizens advice or take legal advice from the community legal advice on 08453454345 or 01204 771376 if u wanna use a mobile - thank god for saynoto0870.com. They also said they didnt look at the agreement as in advise legally the cwu or royal mail and were mainly as a mediator.

Not only have they not paid us the £400, but they have used a formula to calculate the amounts that would give einstein a headache and leaves us with no idea if they have got it right or not.

I've been working since September 09 on a 25 hour contract and I got £121.06.
Rang HR and they said it's to do with length of service as well as it being pro-rata!
I'll be complaining to my union rep again tomorrow, getting him to help me submit some serious complaints.
