UK postal vote system is easy to defraud

Why blame postal voting ?
It was always easy enough to go along pretending to be someone you knew wouldn't be voting - or so I'm told

Honestly, when this postal voting crap was opened up to all and sundry, didn't the idiot whose bright idea it was, did they not realise that in the Britain we've been lumbered with now, that fraud would rear it's ugly head?

Ex-pats should not be allowed to vote in a general election, only people living here.

Nobody residing in Britain should be allowed to vote by post, too lazy to get off their arse and get to a polling station on Thursday, tough.

A postal vote should be issued only in the most exceptional of circumstances, for instance, members of armed forces serving abroad, or if someone is too ill to get to polling station, and by that, I don't mean because someone's got the sniffles.

I think, that already on a few occassions, mis-use of postal voting has brought our democratic process into question, which just should not happen.
