i can already see a scam they will come up with for the pro rata additional sums (the grand), i bet they will work it out based on the 40 hours still rather than the 39 so the part timers get less,
ie
1000/39=£25.64
1000/40=£25

so if im still on my 24 hr contract it would mean:

if based on 39 hrs - £615.36
if based on 40 hrs - £600.00

£15.36 difference, not a lot but a curry and a pint or 2

i might be getting a bit petty like, but i really am a sceptic and look for the bad points 1st so i can challenge them!

Some cynics could suggest that the exclusion of the pro rata from the agreement was deliberate in order to curry favour with part time members to get a yes vote - luckily I am not cynical :chuckle

Cynical - The jury is Out.
Sinful - Most assuredly.

Sinful? Absolutely not - why only today before mass I went to confession for the usual "Father no need to forgive me for I have not sinned" - actually I'm a day out, that's tomorrow :chuckle :chuckle

Hope the CWU High Command on here a pouring over the agreement, to see if a mistake has been made :no no

The agreement says previsouly, so as the £400 is not CS anymore and there is no mention of it being pro rata it can be £400 for all as stated.

I wonder what a tribunal would make of it :hmmmm

I am sure as we hide behind our keyboards critising and finding faults in the agreement HQ will be preparing to champion the case for PT to get the full £400 as worded in agreement :whistle

These are just teething troubles I am sure. ACAS will have been brought into the equation by now as promised - four days old and there seems to be a glitch in the wording - wow there is a surprise. What is a surprise is that some of the union people haven't been able to set our minds at ease to clarify the situration.
