Split shift allowance?
for the last 2 years ive been doing a part time morning round 8-12 and then coming back in the afternoon to do a collection 3:30-6:30, for the first year i didnt even know there was such a thing as split shift allowance as i am not in the union and my dom didnt tell me, but since then ive been paid it up until the last few months and it only seems to go through every so often now, every time i have a word with my dom he says that he 'put in for it' for me when doing the wages but says it must of stopped, can anyone let me know if this is true, thanks.

From the Way Forward...
I'm not sure if this is still the most up to date agreement covering shift allowances though.Split duties (conditioned hours of a single contract £8.67 pw if total span over 10 hours,
Involving two daily non-continuous attendances, £17.34 pw if total span over 12.5 hrs,
Covering at least four days or nights of the week) £25.50 pw if total span over 15 hours.

Re: Split shift allowance?
I don't think its called a Split Shift Allowance. I get a Mixed Shift Allowance from my fun days of working in Callers on an early and late shift. Total each week of £6.19(pens)
I'm not entitled to a full early shift allowance anymore apparently.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Re: Split shift allowance?
On my pay slip it use to go down as "Split Duty Shift Allowance" and use to vary from between £8-£10 a week, but like i said some weeks i use to get it and others not but over the last month now its stopped altogether.Stormproof wrote:I don't think its called a Split Shift Allowance.
