Name yourself because I wouldn't want to vote for you on the NEC elections by mistake
Some of you need to get out more. After all the stick you have given myself Dingo and Lovejoy over the last few months and now you throw you toys out of the pram when someone puts something back to you !!

Look some of you need to read the agreement the current spec is 2 does that now mean everyone finishes at 2 ? Of course it does not. Neither will it mean everyone will finish at 3 the vast majority will not.

The delivery span will be determind by your workplan and the delivery methods you have. So longer spans will be determind by what time you recieve your second 40% of mail and how many full time jobs you want.

Unlimited door to door will never happen in the way you suggust. The most you will get is 6 but in the short term the growth will be measured to ensure that any addtional contracts are delivered to an high quality and free from comphensation. Once 6 items of door to door is in the area then the business case for automation of door to door will kick in.

Will there be change of course . But some of you need to decide are you going to get organised and get the right agreement for your office or you going to stay on the sidelines and moan.

I know what the area I represent will be doing as staying on the sidelines moaning gets you nowhere.

Ive done all the activist crap for the union and it got us nowhere. I even appeared on local TV for the union and that got us nowhere. Then i considered the vacant rep job. Thank f**k i ddnt go for it.

The union is finished. FACT.

The low turnout and the fact that 60,000 members couldnt be arsed to vote on the single most important deal of their working lives speaks volumes about the unions clout for me.

RM have achieved everything they set out to achieve. If the CWU dont realise they have been duped then they need hanging.

Im glad im out. I dont want to be a member of a corrupt organisation thank you very much.

.
I'm afraid RM disagree with you. :hmmmm
8 D2D sales are expected to ramp up as follows: 4 items from Agreement, 5 items from 12th July (to be confirmed) , 6 items from 3rd January and thereafter greater volumes as delivery methods roll out continues and D2D automation comes on stream.
And how screwed is the D2D into workload plan when it's automated,we only get one and we only get 4mins a day to prep it. :cuppa

The things the truth, dingo and lovejoy have in common is they are full of crap, looking after their own interests, terrified full time release will be withheld and worried that their nice little earner will come to an end - it makes you wonder how they got to be in the position they are!

The truth! wrote:God after reading all the posts on here for the last few weeks and in partiuclar yesterday i fully expected to wake up and experience doomsday.

Instead I woke up to the hottest day of the year so far. The lump sum will be paid next weeks along with the pay rise and backdated pay rise and that the challenges on how to improve my members terms and conditons start including better earnings , better attendances and involvement.

Give the agreement time and I think a lot of you will accept that the agreement is not as bad as some of you have painted it.

So unless the world end in a few minutes then I am off to a meeting to move issues forward.
Really,so you will be at the sharp end like the rest of us then will you?? :arrrghhh

Like most things, there's good bits and bad bits and bits with potential both positive and negative. Bit like 2007 really only far more potent, and lets be honest the unions national track record on making that agreement work for the membership crashed and burned. Lets not blame the weak members for that failure because as a leadership you designed the agreement and at some point you must accept the responsibility for how it played out. Now, if only the CWU can put as much energy and effort into making this agreement work for it's members as it has put into getting the desired ballot result then we might stem the flood of resignations.
Good luck with your challenges ,I wish you well.
I hope that if you are successful you will share your knowledge and achievements with other reps on here who might be struggling to make gains.

Got to go now ,the lawn is covered in locusts and it's started raining frogs

The have i'm afraid, placed all their faith in "D2D into workload" to sustain the attendance patterns of a few and by january Royal Mail will most probably have the financial viability with the product to automate the sh*t out of it and bring all the CWUs poorly thought out plans crashing down around them.

Take solice from the fact the yes voters are gonna get screwed too. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

Shame the no voters saw through it are now lumbered with the yes fraternity, who have now single-handedly ruined a quality of life we should be granted, but won't be.

Incidentally. Say what you want about Leighton. He at least had the "Ask Alan" email service whereby you could ask him anything. This crud Higson is about as friendly helpful as a bag of disgarded dog s**t.

Good.

The sooner the CWU are beaten out of the workplace the better.

I honestly believe that without the CWU we would have gotten a better deal it was so crap. Im serious - the union has been duped. Higson and his minions have won. Dave Ward is thick as dog s**t for falling for it...that much is clear.

Make it easier to get rid of them and ring payroll to get your subs stopped.
