I find it helps if you get the four horsemen to trample on the locusts.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Give the agreement time and I think a lot of you will accept that the agreement is not as bad as some of you have painted it.
Well you don't know much then do you, we've been told this morning that more rounds are to come out of our office putting about 80 more calls on us, so makes them around 680, but if that wasn't bad enough were also going to be doing summer lapsing and you can bet a pound to a penny once the walk is lapsed there will be no going back, so this means we'll be doing around 700-720 calls a day, they also explained (after the vote) that to have 1 in 4 saturdays off that walk will have to be covered by the 3 people who work the saturday rotation, so in effect, the 1 in 4 won't really be achievable, nice work yes voters, :pray happy days ahead

Instead I woke up to the hottest day of the year so far. The lump sum will be paid next weeks along with the pay rise and backdated pay rise and that the challenges on how to improve my members terms and conditons start including better earnings , better attendances and involvement.

Give the agreement time and I think a lot of you will accept that the agreement is not as bad as some of you have painted it.

So unless the world end in a few minutes then I am off to a meeting to move issues forward.
Three words you have mentioned............challenges, meeting and issues.

Plenty of those waiting for you in abundance my friend.

So glad you are looking forward to it after all.
Plenty of experience since 2007 I would imagine.

At the end of the day even if you think it was a s**t deal ( and i do ) there are only so many hours in a day and we are only paid to work so many of them. Dont rush about, come in on time, take meal breaks and finish up to your time. What more can you do other than work for the hours your paid for. Simples init.

Yes the deal is done.

I am just curious as to what the "deal" actually entails when it comes to fruition.

In my office one would be a line manager - gone home early
one would be a driver and only prepared to trample locusts on ghost o/t
one would be a PHG - can't find one when you need one
we wouldn't have a fourth one - cuts.
Never let the hand you hold, hold you down.

Yes but how many of those hours do you want to be out trudging the streets?

I work in deliveries, no matter how much you dress this lump of mutton up, it's a piss-poor deal, a poor return for a postie who striked last year and lost over a £1000 in wages. What was a terrible job, has become worse. Thanks, thanks a lot. :evil/mad

Why am I not surprised with the contempt at the way you speak to people :no no and you wonder why people want to leave the union.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
