Interesting process but seems a bit pointless and overly complicated - the easiest way to 'derecognise' is for everyone to cancel their payments via HR. Takes 2 minutes. The whole workforce could do it in a week. Can someone start a campaign? Facebook page?
Once we have told CWU to FO we can all join Unison the next week and they will deal with the formalities which will have to be accepted by RM according to CAC. Unison would see we mean buisness and we would be assured better treatment than we have had from these muppets. This could be done in a month with proper organisation and word of mouth.

Re: De-recognising a trade union
But that is not how it works ,and you should knowdingo wrote:It will never happen . Royal mail do not want to deal with 166 000 indivduals it is to time consuming. The turn out was above the normal percentage for a consultative trade union ballot!
And you know when that point comes they will never have to deal with 100,000 individuals ,because I know and you should know that RM's plans for a puppet staff association are already well developed and have been since 2007.(

Re: De-recognising a trade union
In theory of course getting everyone to resign from the union would be a catalyst for reform HOWEVER if on something as important as this agreement you could only get half the members voting and only half of those were negative, then what chance a mass exodus?
