Did I say I did'nt like my job? I'm not liking the 6hour delivery though, hope you enjoy it. I've put in for a job on the WSM so hopefully I won't be out in extreme heat/cold for 6 hours everyday :whistle
I love the job luv after years as a brickie this is a total doddle, like the song says

YOU DON'TKNOW WHAT YOU GOT TILL IT'S GONE :dance
Yeah, this postman lark is easy! It's all fun and japes. 1 bag of mail, whistling as I skip down the street, basking in the glorious sunshine. It's f'king fantastic!
I HAVE worked other jobs, and this job isn't THAT great.
Oh and the "If you don't likt it, get out" Is utter s**t. Sounds like an american saying "Love it, or leave it"
Guess you'll put up with any old s**t, right?

well sounds like your one of those lazy f***ers who moan about everything right
the reason is the job is not THAT great for you is you have got to do a little graft....RIGHT

Looks like you have to get used to this s**t RIGHT
Been in the jobs more years than most.
I don't moan about everything, only the problems, of which there are many.
A little graft? Hurray for presumptions!
I remember doing my round, then coming back, going out and doing half another duty, then come back and do IPS sorting and prep on frames.

You don't know what the f**k you're talking about.

what do want a medal f***ing muppet :left:
Alread had one, thanks. You, however, are in dire need of a dictionary.

Now they don't need to use EA as they have all the tools they need with the cap lifted from D2D,no defined delivery span, performance standards and of course the will continue increasing the part-time ratio as the agreement demands it.

Jaja, are you looking to get banned? You come on here today, with what looks like the sole intention of winding up as many people as possible. Why?
Is it attention seeking? Don't worry, we all know you're there and we're here for you.

The reason it was a yes vote and why so many members didnt vote was because each branch recommended a yes. This led to area reps and local reps not having any meetings with the staff. In my office we have a few that were only interested in the lump sums even though we explained to them that this delivery supplement is a pay cut  . We have others who show up for work, run round and go home. They are not interested in any agreements. All they want to do is run round . Most of the runners are PT and use their car and that I find funny because the agreement bans cars so they will have to wait :chuckle
Out of 60 staff in my DO, I reckon that we would be lucky to have 5 that have read it. That shows why the YES voters and the general apathy from the others allowed this agreement to go through.
The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.
The time has come for union.

How exactly does that work with the full-time ratio going DOWN from 79/21 to 75/25? .........and 24,000 redundancies.

12,000 on exit packages, the rest through natural wasteage is RML master plan

has everyone forgotten the rules: http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/community/rules.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
so please do not resort to abuse if people of a different political persuasion or viewpoint to you, post on a thread.
We would much rather have a long winded well thought out argument, picking out weak points in someone's position, than have a thread full of 1 line insults.

SO no insults and it does not matter if you are not swearing. Also any posts suggesting limited intelligence or need for a dictionary are not allowed under the B&H rules.

Only 1 person on here who is allowed to break the rules and thats because he puts his own money into the site, his own time, and he has to the grind behind the scenes.

Bans are always an option, the last one, but I will use them if I think the situation warrants it

What is natural wasteage Daz. :hmmmm

One of the parameters in the Delivery Duty Design Principles For Bundled Revisions

• How can the cost of buy down and redundancy be minimised?

I think 24,000 "natural wasteage" is more likely the RML master plan, don't you?

The fact that you even feel that some people may feel embarrassed about voting yes speaks volumes.

& i sit here i made a democratic decision and i voted yes,i have tried to read most threads

during this ballot and the Vast majority are against, they have there reasons and i have mine.

What i do find annoying at best is the half of CWU members that didn't even bother.
Very good so far. BUT are you going to say why you voted yes? I would love to know what in all that mess were the key reasons why you voted that way. Surely you can see that there are no advantages????
