Out of 117,073 papers dispatched only 64,018 voted smells of B/S to high heaven
Can't believe nearly 50% of people did'nt vote. Perhaps 45% did'nt receive their ballot papers :whistle

dear dear me you just can't accept it can you it has been done fair and square all cards on the table

it's done we have got to now move on with pace
You work in the mail center or just drive a van all day and sit on your arse?

If you're 'happy' with the result, then you're clearly one of the following; A newbie, a manager or somone who doesnt have over 650 calls a f***ing day.

mabe I do as you say sit on my back side but I use my brain

if the jobs that bad go, get out, but you will not, as there is no way you can find employment with the same wage and conditions and you know it.

I've asked this in a few threads already. But the only responses I've had, were from people accusing me of spitting my dummy out, because it didn't go my way. And one person who criticised me for accusing the independant scruitineer of being corrupt.

This is intended as a serious question, in an attempt to find out if there's a rational explination for this. Or more worryingly, if it actually WAS fixed!

Just to clarify: I'm upset that it was voted in. But if it's all above board, I'll just accept it, as it'd be the will of the majority. But I'm far more angry that there's a possibility that it was rigged.
this poll has been processed in the same way all our other polls have been processed and is Independently screened

the fact is people are attacking it as fixed is simply because it never went their way ,you will have to accept that the majority voted for this

the people have had their Opportunity to vote, the result is clear 2-1 in favor

we need to move on, time for change and a great future its here now!
Now that Fishtank has been able to explain how it was possible for the leak to be so accurate last night, I can! I must admit that I'm still a little unnerved by it. But at least that explination makes more sense than the alternative. Whether it'll be enough for the other doubters remains to be seen. But I wasn't the only one who smelled a rat, when we saw just how accurate the leak was. So hopefully things will calm down a bit, at least on that front.

the way people are going on here it sounds as if you will not have many left in the union at all
I can perfectly understand why aswell. These are indeed sad times. However the majority have spoken (I have no reason to doubt the result.) However all of us wether we like it or not, must try and make the "agreement" work in our offices, to our advantage. Something which will indeed be difficult, and to say the least trying.

The deal is done and the democratic process has either worked in your favour or not...like it or not this is the country we live in. So what happens if your political party doesn't win the election on 6th May ..will you leave the country. Get over it and accept whats happened. I voted no but now thats its here I will accept whats happened and still back MY union to help bring change in. Cos if the children want to throw their toys out the pram that makes them every bit as bad as management who didn't want this deal to go through.
I am a member of a democratic union which means sometimes deals will go for me sometimes they won't...but to run away cos you can't accept whats happened is just ludicrous...its even more unacceptable in the fact that 50% of the membership couldn't be bothered to vote.

Yes, obviously with my 10 GCSE's, various IT qualifications, certificate of pre vocational education, city & guilds in engineering, cetrtifcate in Japanese and a whole bunch of other things means I have no brain.

How about, I DID like the job, but it's getting worse and worse. You sit on your arse in IT doing a job almost any muppet coming out of school can do and I'll do my equaly 'challenging' job.

Number six can you please explain in your words how the future is now great.

As a foot solider i fail to see how this is great for the work force, i do agree its great for R/M as they can now whip us that little bit harder.

I dont see the cap being lifted on D2DS ,the 3.5 hr del span lifted and longer saturdays great for the work force.

The floor is all yours my friend.

I think the drivers in D/Os may well be in for shock with the introduction of cdvs as there will be no need for driving sections in theory they may well become walkmen.

Plus S/A and O/T going for the afternoon collections as those duties will either become hybrd or P/T duties.

I do have to say one thing i hate this divide between drivers/walkmen were all on self destruct mode,if we used our heads together we could have ended up with more driving/walk duties but we never .
