The National Agreement (Business Transformation 2010 and Beyond) reached between Royal Mail and the CWU requires that Door to Door (D2D) will be placed into measured workload and delivered over 6 days, 52 weeks a year. This paper sets out the optimum way in which Delivery Managers should plan their operation to cater for this change. Further guidelines are also provided beneath on managing the interim arrangements.

and if it is a yes vote then I am out of a union that has lied to me - sadly you expect to get shafted by RM to be shafted by someone you are paying to represent you I don't think so

Sorry, but how did anyone really believe that dels would get smaller, everything was pointing to more outdoor work not less

Really do feel sorry for anyone who was lied to over this, the inevitable may happen but,
the whole agreement reminds me of a tea strainer - full of holes.
8 D2D sales are expected to ramp up as follows: 4 items from Agreement, 5 items from 12th July (to be confirmed) , 6 items from 3rd January and thereafter greater volumes as delivery methods roll out continues and D2D automation comes on stream. However, not all units should expect to match this profile if they are in low demand areas.
I am quite frankly shocked at the lies told to sell this agreement.

Funny how or( not) all this information is kept low key until the eve of the agreement,maybe it should have been mentioned in the agreement......a wonder why!!!

Big clue for me was when they said delivery spans would be unspecified,i wonder why they said that?
Dave Ward said in his dvd the d2d issue was "the most honest part of the agreement", says it all really!
