I'm on a shite walk atm, but I graduated from being on 5 different shite walks each week to finally getting my very own shite walk :nana . As TBT said it's better than being reserve and if you have your own shite walk then your better off imo because it's unlikely you'll get anything added to it. When I'm on leave people claim on it all the time because unless you know the walk well it's impossible to get round it in your time, it took me about 3 weeks to work out a method of doing it so the dead walking was minimal, I could make all the trade buttons before the shut off and get finished on time.

reserve duties do actually have their benefits after about a year of experience you dont get stuck next to boring sods you move around you get variety but i must admit if your not very good at standing up for yourself which most are it can be a hiding to nothing istill dont und it doesnt seem very fair as a matter of courseerstand why some people never seem to have to do it

A shite walk is a walk that you can very rarely complete in the normal time ,even on an easy day. This means you get grief every day off the managers if you dont want to book ot, and i dont..... :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy :Very Happy

My walk is so shite it's coloured brown on the pegasus mapping.

Bit of rural and three different parts of town that no-one else wanted.

Ah well I look at it simply as putting letters through doors no matter what walk you are on, same s**t, different day thats all.

Mines classed as rural cos were a few miles away from the main DO, even though each of us in our small office as over 600 calls, on Saturday I posted my 1st letter at roughly 9.45 am and my last 1 at 2.10 pm, every 1 of them is down a path of its own and no way of doing shortcuts, and this is an easy day. :cuppa

yeah and i bet you get up half an hour before you go to bed and lick the cobble stones clean with you tongue too :whistle

Overweight bags are your fault ....not Royal Mails....16 kilo's max ....11 if you have half a brain and 95 blocks of flats to walk up.

95 blocks of flats? I find that difficult to believe. How many flights of stairs do these blocks have? and as for overweight bags that is your fault, I think you will find the weight for flats is 8kgs.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
