Hope you`re better mate,thought you might like this:-
Spoke to driver from mail centre last week Alan,who had been off sick for a couple of days and was up at my DO to pick up some collection Yorks.
Scene:-Alan on shopfloor in mailcentre mobile rings.....
Alan: "hello"
Mr Pants(manager):hello Alan hear you`ve not been well recently?
Alan:yes that`s right
Mr Pants:sorry to hear that, are you any better?
Alan:yes i feel much improved thanks
Mr Pants:oh good, when do you think we can expect you back then?
Alan:i came back yesterday and am now on the shopfloor about twenty feet from your office
To quote a well know phrase "the silence was deafening".
