The union didn't even put the low pay rates of some MDEC staff on the table when negotiating the deal.
At the moment people doing the same job, with the same training, the same hours, sat next to each other, are paid different rates.
That causes resentment and quite frankly is yet another example of the union FAILING to do what they are paid for.
Every other issue, large or small, was placed on the table for discussion. But not MDEC workers' pay.
These things don't go unnoticed.
And if the reason is because the MDECs are doomed, then the union must have known this but has not told the members.
Fail again.
