I said I did a walk that lasts 4 hours, not that I did the whole 4 hours. Maybe I should have been clearer and said I cut off.
I never denied that people go at their own pace. What I took objection to was that that would make 2 hours difference to a delivery. Maybe if the 2 people were Linford Christie and Jade Goodey it might. But the speed or pace of the delivery person couldn't account for such disparity in walk times.
We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. I've not come on here to argue with fellow posties. I have managers who I can argue with.

After getting me pissed, you'd still have change left from a tenna Tommo Gone are the days I used to be able to drink 15 pints then still wake up the next day without thinking someone had s**t in my mouth and taken a crow bar to my head.

What has 'fair' wages. got to do with anything? We don't live in a society where we get paid 'fair wages (yet!) we get paid whatever we can fight for. The richest f***ers in this country get obscene wages, (£1 million bonuses for city stockbrokers anyone), and if we let ourselves get shafted because our wages are 'fair' it won't mean that nurses get a pay rise. Only working people standing together fighting back against the people like :lfo and :cfo, whod love it if we were on third world condidtions will raise the status and pay of our jobs.
Maybe our job isn't rocket science, but neither is this:
crippled social life + bulling managers + loaded down like a donkey + house prices = unfair wages
Ah when its mizziling and you have to go down a ginnel with bushes on either side you get sodden, it makes me a bit mardy. Those 2 Doylums in charge that employ Dozy Twonks as managers should be shot.

kimad4it thanks for the bithday wishes it's just cost me a fiver. i bet my mate your greeting would have the letters f and o in them. your right about the ranting lets put it down to post strike tension. by the way we have something in common my family originated in cochester. see i can't be all bad !!. by the way tommo the last time i got pisst the drink was known as grog and it came in a wooden cup served by a wench. about 1 groat a pint as i recall. hick cheers.
